We have a tradition where Grandma Ladybug has all of the grandkids over to decorate gingerbread houses for Christmas. This year, while all the kids where gathered around the table, waiting for the decorating to begin, Lil' Chedda, 7 at the time, suddenly says, "If I had a tail, it'd be wagging so hard right now."
A couple of weeks ago, Mr. Crackers, Brie, and Lil' Chedda came downtown to eat lunch with me. As we're waiting for our food, 10 year-old Brie asks us if we know one of the neighbor's cousins. Mr. Crackers and I said we did. "Well, I don't like him," Brie said.
"Why?" I asked.
"When we were playing, he said this was no place for a lady. So I said, 'Are you calling me a lady? 'Cause I will f--- you up.'"
At this point, the whole table busts up laughing. Brie turns red and quickly explains, "I didn't say it; I just thought it."
